Pharmacological Treatment of Pediatric Hypertension

This course provides information on the safety and effectiveness of 7 classes of drugs to treat
pediatric hypertension. The activity is intended for primary care and specialty providers who
care for children with hypertension. The estimated time to complete the module and
evaluation is 1 hour.




Pharmacological Treatment of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis

This course provides information on the safety and effectiveness of 4 categories of therapeutics
to treat juvenile idiopathic arthritis: non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs),
disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs), biologics, and corticosteroids.
The activity
is intended for primary care and specialty providers who care for children with juvenile
idiopathic arthritis.
The estimated time to complete the module and evaluation is 1 hour.




Pharmacological Treatment of Pediatric Acute Pain

This course addresses assessment and management of pediatric acute pain, and includes
information on the safety and effectiveness of 4 classes of medications to treat pain: analgesics
and antipyretics (acetaminophen), non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, opioids, and amides.

The activity is intended for primary care providers who care for children with acute pain in
outpatient settings.
The estimated time to complete the module and evaluation is 1 hour.
